How do you say ‘please do not feed the trolls' in Chinese? How do you say ‘please do not feed the trolls' in Chinese? By 'troll' I mean 'an internet troll' In Internet slang, a trollis a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

feed the troll? lol it is like a game saying. there is not such a chinese word or expression for this. however, u can say: 不要回复他,回复他就是在顶他(的帖子) to express the same meaning. and if u want to use some chinese internet slang, u can say some post is a 嘲讽贴, or u can say :他在嘲讽 嘲讽 comes from some kinds of internet games such as wow, in these games, player can pick his role. normally, a game like this offers three kinds of roles: warrior, carry and priest. the normal rule is: when we fight, we let the enemies attack the warrior because the warrior has high hp and high armor, and we let carry try his best to attack, and the prist take charge of healing. As the carry can make higher harm to the enemies, so logically, the enemies will select the carry as the first target. So normally in these games, the warrior has some skills to let the enemies attack him. these skills are called "嘲讽技能". it's like: hey! fight with me! I am ur target!!! come!! so in Internet, if someone says something inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic, we say"他在嘲讽" or “他的帖子(his post)是嘲讽贴” for example, i say: 中国人都是畜生, obviously, lots of chinese will do a lot of responses. some of them gonna leave some messages like this: 他在嘲讽,别理他。 or 这是嘲讽贴,别留言了。

I guess it can be "楼主五毛,鉴定完毕". LOL. It means the author is a speak for the government, which pays them 50 cents for one message in rumour.
