Neither is wrong. "Puis" is an archaic form of "peux" and is far more formal (and less often used.) Also, "puis" is the only one permitted to make an inversion to mean "May I..." => puis-je E.g.: « Puis-je vous aidez? » May I help you? [and not "peux-je"] There are two set phrases I can think of where "puis" is used: 1) Si je puis me permettre... 2) Si je puis dire... People more often use "Je peux." Because of that, I'll tell you to stick to "Je peux," unless you want to sound extra polite/old-fashioned. On an unrelated note, your question should be « Laquelle est la bonne? » Your pronoun should be feminine, to match the rest of your sentence. Happy learning!

"Je puis" est une variante obsolète de "Je peux". Elle n'existe plus que dans les expressions suivantes : -Puis-je vous aider ? -Si je puis me permettre...

we say "je peux" to mean "i can" if you want to ask : which one (suggestion) is good ? you can use: "laquelle "
