In an online dictionary, I found several translations; 退屈(たいくつ)した bored, boring: doesn't matter whether you are doing something or not 時間(じかん)を持(も)て余(あま)した bored because you have nothing to do ≒暇(ひま)である 飽(あ)き飽(あ)きした bored because you have done, heard, seen something too many times: be tired of うんざりした similar to 飽き飽きした: be fed up with something So you may choose the appropriate word in each situation. For example; -I'm bored because the teacher says the same thing again and again. -I'm bored to death. -I have nothing to do. -I'm bored with my life.
