What's the meaning of 'tangible person'?
Exactly. It’s an artificial construct, which turns out to be incredibly valuable for organizing the world and knowing how to analyze problems. And in that sense, who really needs to see one or to find one? But I’m a very tangible person, and I thought, if I could really have an example of a demand curve maybe I could push up the learning of the students.
In this context, what does ' tangible person' mean?
Is there any equivalent word that I can use?

This person prefers to deal with 'tangible' objects ( 3-D objects that actually exist in time and space ) in the physical world, as opposed to an abstract concept such as a demand curve, which is used in the study of economics.
I can't think of a substitute word. It could be re-worded as "I'm a person who prefers to deal with tangible problems as opposed to abstract ones." This is probably a better construct than "I'm a tangible person" for a non-native speaker.

Here you can see a definition of this word - http://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/american_english/tangible. So, I think that in your case you can replace 'tangible ' with 'conrete/real man' or 'man of real actions'. Which means that this man used to see that something is real, touchable. But maybe I am wrong)

Tangible usually wouldn't be used to describe a person, but in this context "tangible person" means the person is able to be seen and comprehended, in contrast to a 'demand curve', which is an abstract concept and is therefore not "tangible."
(At least, that's my understanding of it)
