Hi Apple. 3 great words! Germaphobe (n) means an extreme fear of germs and dirt. eg 'He's always washing his hands. He must be a germaphobe' Metrosexual (n) refers to a heterosexual man who shopping, fashion, self body image and many of the things women and homosexual people enjoy. It is a word commonly associated with urban living. It's informal but not slang.eg. 'Some people think he's gay but he's actually metrosexual' Androgynous. (adj) If someone is androgynous they display a combination of male and female characteristics. Eg. Some female and male models are androgynous and it's sometime difficult to say whether they are male or female. Or clothes can be adrogynous....defining neither gender. hope that helps. Helen.

I'l french but I guess the meaning is the same I don't know what germaphobe means but I know for the two other ones. metrosexual and androgynous aren't slang. metrosexual is someone that cares about how he looks like, wearing fashionable clothes etc.. androgynous : someone that have a neutral apparance, looks like both like a man and a woman
