Hi, I wouldn't say that it is wrong nor weird, but I would suggest a better sentences such as.. I'm interested in savoring different types of gourmet. I'm interested in discovering all sorts of amazing food.

So Funny Gary, because I am a native speaker. Have been living in the U.S. my entire life, since the age of 4. You can't explore food itself. You can explore places. The person who said "sampling different kinds of delicious food" and my answer about "exploring restaurants that have delicious food" are both correct. Don't judge people based off of their names if you do not know their story. English is my most used language. If you ever came up to me and said you were "exploring delicious food" ..first thing I would do is call you an idiot and then I would ask you "where?"

Lots of bad answers from non-native speakers! It's actually fine, and natural.

You cannot explore food, you can explore different restaurants that HAVE delicious food. So, you would say something like, "I am interested in exploring different restaurants that have delicious food"

Hi, I don't think that is natural. I think you need "I'm interested in sampling different kinds of delicious food".
