Satisfied means, when something meets your expectations. One of the most typical ways it is used is in eating, if someone is very hungry and eats a large meal, they would say "that was satisfying". If the meal was not enough, and didn't meat their expectation they would say "I'm still not satisfied" they wouldn't say "I'm not pleased". You could use pleased, but it would have slightly different meaning, it would be more about the flavor or quality of the meal, and not in how much it meets your expectations to fill your stomach. Pleased doesn't necessarily have to do with "meeting expectations", pleased is anything that is gratifying or delightful, something that makes you feel good, pleased is used more for the quality of a thing. You could walk into a church and not expect anything, but suddenly see a beautiful painting, then you could say "that painting pleases me" or "i'm pleased with this church". Usually in this situation it would be wrong to say "that painting satisfies me", it sounds wrong and unexpected. Unless the person's EXPECTATION was to be pleased, then the fact that the painting pleased that person, could be satisfying, so he could say "I'm satisfied with this painting, because it is as pleasing as I expected". So satisfaction has to do with expectations of the person and pleasing has to do with the quality of something.

Pleased means I like something, perhaps because it is good. It describes my emotional state. Satisfied means my needs have been met. It describes a fact: whether something is good enough. I can be pleased, but not satisfied (I'm pleased you cooked dinner, but it wasn't enough). I can be satisfied but not pleased (I ate enough, but you made me cry).

Satisfied, In my opinion it means having something fulfill you. You can say " I'm certainly satisfied with this dish." On the other hand, Being pleased Is sort of similar. Well, being pleased in my opinion is like doing someone a favor sort of like "I am very pleased you cleaned the dishes." Sorry If this didn't help... i could teach you a little more.. :):
