How to say "how so?" In chinese
I asked a friend who recently moved to america "跟中国的相比，这里的学校生活有很大的不同吗” and he replied "很不一样的”. I want to now ask "how so?" As in how are the two different, But i dont know how to say this in chinese. What is a short way to ask someone to elaborate on a topic such as "how so?"

Yeah, "怎么说？" make sense.! And "何以见得” a kinda old fashioned

你可以这样说:
1.哪里不一样呢?(相当于英语中的:where is the difference?)
2.怎么不一样呢?(相当于英语中的:where is the difference?)
3.比如说呢?(相当于英语中的:can you give an example?)
4:怎么说?(相当于英语中中: why did you say that?)

哪里不一样？（也可以把说成哪儿不一样，这个更口语一些）。也可以问：有什么区别呢？

一般來說，最口語化跟比較自然的回答方式是： 「為什麼？」或是「怎麼說呢？」
