there's a few special ways to negate in Chinese; 并不是 emphasizes a negation, often to clarify a misunderstanding; as in: Writing isn't hard, but it's certainly not easy either. 写作不是很难，但是也并不容易。 I'm just tired is all; I'm not saying I *want* to go to bed! 我只是困而已；我并不是说想睡觉！ 并 can also be used in a slightly more formal tone to mean 'and' between two verbs; 保存并退出 Save and Quit (in a computer program) This sense of 并 means the same thing as 并且, so something like 'furthermore' What do you want to say with 并得上？ I dont really think its ever used like that.
