Shaheda is an excellent teachers who's firm yet kind. she constantly emphasizes the importance of self confidence and determination as it relates when striving to learn a new language. we've only had a few classes so far but I feel as if i've made more progress with her in that time than by myself!! recommend 10/10

Today we were studying about pronunciation, he explains it very patiently and in an easy to understand way.

Shaheda is an incredible teacher who will ensure that you can speak Bangla with correct pronunciation and emotion, and also makes sure to impart historical and cultural knowledge so that you can better connect to the vast population of Bengali speakers.

If I am paying $20.00, I expect to hear and speak the language more. It seemed like the teacher used the time to improve her English, rather than teach me Bengali. For example, she spent 10 or 12 minutes explaining in English the meaning of Asalaam Alekum, even though I said I knew the meaning after she introduced it. She only started teaching me Bengali greetings after 40 minutes (of English), and seemed surprised when I tried repeating her Bengali each time. (Perhaps that is a cultural thing? Perhaps it is considered interrupting and therefore rude?) Even after explaining the time of day that each greeting is used, she used the English phrases, rather than the Bengali phrases, in her explanation. I think the teacher should refund the $20.00. (No vale la pena.) To be fair, the teacher has a nice voice, has good credentials, and is very confident, which are all impressive traits. She is also very proud of Bengali culture, which is a beautiful thing in a teacher.
