Hello, my name is Carly. I was born and raised in the United States, and I would love to help you on your English learning journey!
My hobbies include playing video games and learning new languages. As a foreign language learner, I know how hard it can be. I have Intermediate High Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and can converse conversationally in the language.
I strive to make a comfortable learning environment by tailoring lessons to fit my students through understanding, open conversation, and judgment-free teaching!지도 경험
I have a certificate for teaching Business English, Online English Classes, as well as a 168-hour Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification.
My specialty is in accent reduction and conversational skills but I also have international business experience so I can help with Business English. I am also experienced in public speaking, so I can help you fine-tune any presentations you may have in English. My experience is focused on logistics, but I also have knowledge of marketing, management, HR, and administration.
As mentioned, I have Intermediate High Proficiency in Mandarin so I am able to have basic conversations and accurately translate English vocabulary during class.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
My lessons and teaching styles will vary by student. After we discuss the student's needs, I will suggest how lessons can be conducted.
My main teaching styles are formal and informal. Students can request a mix of teaching styles, for example, the first 30 minutes of class can be informal teaching and the last 30 minutes can be formal.
Formal lessons follow textbooks and/or lesson plans based on the student's needs and interests. I typically do not give homework unless a student requests some.
Informal lessons are conversation based. The student can practice speaking with me, practice presenting to me, ask questions about colloquial English, or talk about anything else.내 수업 자료
