Hello!
My name is Kelsey, and I am a graduate from the University of Alberta, Canada. 🇨🇦
I've been teaching online since 2016, and travelling the world as I do.
As of September, 2024, I'm back in Canada, but over the years I have lived in the UK, Georgia, Thailand and Denmark, and visited 37 other countries for various lengths of time.
I am a curious person and always want to know more about people, food and cultures.지도 경험
Since I was young, I have had a few wonderful teachers who have helped me along my learning journey. Even when I didn't believe in myself, they believed in me. It is for this reason that I wanted to become a teacher. Every student can learn, although it may be in different ways and over different amounts of time. My goal is to help each student achieve success, however it may look to them.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
My lessons are student centred, where I will guide the student and they will be doing most of the talking. I am an energetic and positive teacher and like to have fun with my students. I believe in positive reinforcement and letting the student know it is okay to make mistakes.
After the student's level and goals are determined, my lessons are generally structured in the following way.
1. Introduction; Free Talk
2. Previous Lesson review; go over homework or revisit previous concepts
3. Main lesson time; discuss concept, practice using the concept, check for understanding from the student.
4. Wrap up; student is given homework (if desired) and specific feedback is given.
