Great lesson with Maria! We reviewed family vocabulary and talked about the family tree. We also read a funny story and answered questions about it. Maria always has a positive and encouraging attitude!

Great lesson with Maria! We learned the vocabulary for family members. We also learned about family traditions in Mexico and Latin America, including last names. Maria picked exercises and paragraphs for reading that fit my level, which was excellent!

Great lesson with Maria! We started with conjugating irregular verbs in the pretérito perfecto. I was struggling. Rather than continue, Maria gave me a chart which listed the conjugations. I also read a story about Christmas in Spain. Maria adjusting the lesson right away was very effective!

Dr. Ramirez is an amazing instructor. I credit her for my Spanish-speaking skills. If not for her patience, guidance, and creativity, I would be nervously floundering awkwardly through conversations. Today, I can proudly say that I confidently flounder awkwardly through conversations, and with her continued support, I flounder a little less every day.

Great first lesson with Maria! Maria evaluated my level in Spanish and based on that was able to choose the most appropriate activities. Maria spoke in a way that was easy to understand and I enjoyed her class!
