Hello,
I'm a native English speaker from South Africa, and I've been teaching English online since 2012. I can help you with grammar, vocabulary, and exam preparation. I also enjoy having casual conversations and asking questions. I'm a curious person, so I'm happy to talk about almost any topic.
Growing up in South Africa, where there are 11 official languages, has given me experience with different cultures and languages.
In my free time, I like hiking, cycling, gardening, doing yoga, surfing, and reading. Let's have a chat and explore new topics together! 😊지도 경험
I like to customize my sessions based on what my students need, and I use online materials instead of relying on a set textbook. During our conversations, I'll gently provide corrections, both spoken and written, without disrupting the natural flow of our discussion. This way, learning feels more comfortable and fluid. *Informal Tutoring:
Conversation practice (helpful for improving confidence and fluency) with corrections and feedback on areas such as; grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
Materials: articles or videos.
*Exam preparation:
Focus on speaking and writing which includes samples of exam questions and detailed feedback and suggestions on how to improve.
*Grammar:
These sessions are to work on specific grammar structures such as; articles, conditionals, prepositions, verb tenses and word order.
*Vocabulary:
We can work on specific vocabulary such as descriptive language, idioms or phrasal verbs.
*Business Language:

I took a lot of lessons (more than 100) and I had many teachers (more than 15) and I can tell that Jessie is one of my favorite teachers.
Why? Because she is very attentive, she always gives me the floor when I want to speak. She speaks but not too much (some teachers are too talkative!)And what I prefer she asks me a lot of questions.
We had many discussions about different topics (travelling, dating on line, tourism, South Africa…) and it was always interesting.

My cat Mimi passed away this week, she sometimes showed up when I meeting with Jessie. I really miss her, this time me and Jessie talked about Mimi. Jessie reminds me of happy moments and the character of Mimi, really helpful to cure my sadness.
