* I WILL NOT BE PROVIDING LESSONS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Hello everyone! My name is James and I'm excited to hopefully have the opportunity to share my knowledge of English with you all. I have a passion for teaching English and being able to help others understand this important language, especially in a globalized world today where English has become a necessity. I would describe myself as a very curious and open person and I love to have conversations with other people and get to know them! I am a Canadian citizen, I grew up and went to school (as well as University) here, and I hope to be able to show some of that Canadian hospitality in my lessons.

As a teacher, I am very flexible and I have had experience in the fields of conversational tutoring with young students at a language academy before. I am well aware of the different people that I meet that want to learn how to communicate through English and I love to learn about other people and their cultures as well! I am TEFL certified and I've had 2 years of teaching experience.

내 강의 및 지도 스타일

I would say that my teaching style is very lenient and comfortable. I will usually conduct lessons through conversational means such as pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar tips. I want to repeat here that I am a Community Teacher with two years of experience as an English tutor, however, I am not a licensed professional. I like to create a comfortable atmosphere with the students to ease any shyness or awkwardness so that the student feels like they can openly speak with confidence!

It has been almost one year that I have been taking English classes with James. And he is an AMAZING tutor ! Now, I feel more comfortable for developing thoughts in English. I truly appreciate his professionalism, his kindness and the way he communicates. I also like how he creates his courses. He always uses thought-provoking articles, and can also suggest topics that are directly linked to my personal and specific interests. Conversations with him are always enriching too, as he is an open-minded person. Thank you very much for making me enjoy speaking English, James !
