日本で生まれ、育った日本人です。Yasuと申します。
今までに英語、韓国語、中国語を勉強していました。その他の言語の学習もそうですが、特に一番の第二言語である英語の学習経験が、日本語を教えるにあたり特に活かすことができていると考えています。
現在は、普通の会社員として働いています。いろんな国へ旅行することが好きです。あとは、映画やテレビ番組を見るのも好きです。
Hi, my name is Yasu. I was born and raised in Japan.
I have always been very curious about words, so whenever I come across words that I've never heard of, I just cannot help but pick up my iPhone and look it up.
I work at an IT company now. My hobbies are traveling to different places, as well as watching movies or TV shows (My favorites are S.. and G... If you are interested, ask me in Japanese in my class!). Including my business trips, I have been to around 15 different countries and love to travel!

지도 경험
私自身、英語という第二言語の学習を継続しています。その中で苦労した経験から、学習者の立場になった、親身な対応ができると信じています。日本語教育能力検定試験に合格しています。”楽しく”がモットーです。
I myself have studied English, Korean, and Chinese in my life. I majored in English literature and language at university. I started studying English when I was five, and am still studying as learning is a never-ending, ever-evolving fun journey!
I strongly believe that my experience of learning second languages helps me (and ultimately my students) a lot when teaching Japanese.
I have passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test. I believe that it is important to align my teaching style to the needs of students. My motto of learning/teaching is always "while having fun".
내 강의 및 지도 스타일
言語の学習は、好奇心と継続が大切だと考えるため、生徒さんが楽しんで学習を続けられるように、特に以下の点に注力します。また、生徒さんの学習レベルやスピードに合わせた柔軟な対応を心がけます。
・生徒さんファーストを常に意識し、継続学習の妨げとなるような疑問やつまずくポイントの早期解決
・コミュニケーションや遊びを中心とした楽しい学び
・生徒さん本人の関心事項に沿ったトピック設定
I think staying curious is the most crucial to improving your language skills. I will try my best so that you can have fun and thus keep studying. I will listen to your preference such as learning level and speed, and try my best to create a personalized learning environment for you.
My teaching courses include but are not limited to:
- Conversation practice (Situational or free-talk)
- Business writing (Correct emails etc.)
- Read and study news articles of your pick
- Life at a Japanese company

Yasu-sensei is great as always! Very supportive and patient for a slower learner like myself. Going over the stuff I watched as a kid and understanding it is amazing! I don't want to post a review because it might make scheduling an awesome lesson more difficult😅. Thank you Yasu-sensei!

I have such a fantastic experience with Yasu as my Japanese teacher! Our conversations feel like chatting with a friend, and she always comes well-prepared for our lessons. We can casually talk about anything, which makes the learning process extremely enjoyable. Yasu's patience and guidance in correcting my grammar and pronunciation are invaluable. Overall, she's a super fun teacher to talk to. Highly recommended!

Very fun lesson! Yasu helped explain more of the Japanese writing structure and how Kanji is slowly introduced as a speaker progresses. Thank you!
