I love teaching. I formally first started teaching English to Koreans. Then I saw the increasing demand for Korean language and decided to jump in. After many lessons I realized that the best way for me to serve people is to teach my first language. Now I use English to help people reach their goals. My lessons cover a wide range of the Korean language. I teach beginners, advanceds, and TOPIK preparers. I try to communicate with my students as much as possible to know what their hobbies, strengths, weaknesses, goals, needs and motivations are. My classes are much less like lectures but more like catch-ups. If the student wants it for fun, we will have as much as fun. I tried one or two other teachers before 상수 선생님, and after many lessons with him, I realized that no one else could compare. He adapts to your learning style and ensures you're comfortable. Moreover, he is always available to help, even outside of lessons, and is extremely good at explaining things that I could not easily understand. All in all, he was a great teacher who helped me tremendously. Not only did I learn Korean, but I also made a good friend. 정말 감사합니다 !

I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for my 상수 쌤 over the past 4 months. His dedication and guidance have truly helped my Korean improve a lot. Not only is he friendly and warm, he's also very patient and encouraging and would always explain grammar concepts or vocabulary thoroughly. Soon it will be a year since I started learning Korean with 상수 씨. I am very grateful for this entire year. I am glad that he listens to my wishes and adapts our lessons. 상수 씨 is always prepared, quite strict, but not intimidating. Rather he is cheerful and funny :D. Most important he is very humane.
We communicate in English, but I am not fluent, and it really helps that he knows Russian so I can understand some nuances.
The main thing is that I never lose interest and want to keep studying, and I can see my progress.

상수 쌤 is extremely kind, patient and helpful. We mainly work on phonetics and he gives very strict and detailed feedback. Also has a very high quality camera/microphone setup which is nice.
