I use creative and effective methods to engage learners and help them reach their goals. Currently teaching in Queretaro, Mexico, I've also taught in Madrid, Spain, and my home city of Dublin, Ireland. In my conversation classes, I focus on improving fluency and building confidence in using English. I provide error correction in a supportive, encouraging way to help you reach your goals. I choose fun, engaging topics and ensure you do most of the speaking. For exam preparation (IELTS, FCE, CAE), I concentrate on speaking, use of English, and writing, offering helpful vocabulary and materials. Declan is a very good teacher, he changes the methods when is necessary (he notices it), he does a good balance between grammar classes and conversation classes, that’s why I’ve been doing English class with him for 4 months and I maintain it every week.
