Hello! My name is Mira. I am a native English speaker and TESOL certified. I have 10 years teaching experience and have taught students of all ages English for general conversational in daily life, and for professional and academic motivations. I teach business English to professionals working in international teams and academic English to students and researchers with specialist and focused interests. I have speech coaching experience and can prepare you for presentations and public speaking. I am enthusiastic, always encouraging and have a curious nature so I love to learn and discover new things. I believe that language and culture are deeply connected and enjoy sharing this with students as well as learning about the cultures of my students. I understand that learning languages can be challenging and the key to it is practice, so I present many opportunities to practice language skills in my class, where I am there and ready to support you. My lessons are personalised to suit your needs and help you meet your aims. I use a variety of materials to help you interact with English in an enjoyable way and develop your skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Personalised lessons focusing on general English for daily life, conversation and immersion, business English needs, focused study goals for all school/university needs and goals.
Lessons are designs to include:

English TutorI taught English to pupils following the UK national curriculum. In our classes we focused on grammar and writing skills, presentation and communication skills. In addition to vocabulary building in creative writing, and test preparation.
2019 - 2020
English Language InstructorTeaching courses in Public Speaking, Academic Reading and Writing that focused on English for studying at university. Topics relating to current issues in business, finance, technology, scientific development, social issues, art and philosophy were included in the course content.

The English courses is specific to their program of study and focuses on using intermediate - advanced level grammar structures and vocabulary in real life- daily and business situations including presentation, negotiations, asking questions and discussion. I teach speaking and presentations skills and various styles of writing from personal narratives, articles, campaign writing to opinion essays.
