I have been working with Carlos for several years to help me achieve fluency in Spanish. I have found Carlos to be patient, extremely reliable, kind, a good listener, interesting, humorous, and excellent at relating grammatical concepts in both English (my native language) and, of course, especially in Mexican Spanish. I have been working with Carlos for a while, today we pretended we did not know each other well and he spoke no English so I directed the conversation entirely in Spanish and described words I did not know the Spanish for. It was a very useful exercise for speaking to others who may not know any English.

I am part of a family of educators and so I understand how difficult it is to teach effectively. Carlos does just that, and he does so in an easy and very engaging manner. I came to Carlos after spending more than two frustrating years learning Spanish on Duolingo, and after a few short lessons, things I had struggled with became much clearer. He immediately understood my struggles and built a custom program to fill in all the missing parts. I am confident my path to mastering Spanish is with Carlos.
