Naru🇯🇵

Today we were talking about my day and how my work day went. I had the chance to use some new vocabulary and build sentences using the grammar points I already know. It is still hard to remember what verb form and ending I have to use in many instances, but it is getting a bit easier every time I do a conversation class. Thank you 😊.

Today we continued reading the tale of Orihime and Hitoboshi. I feel I need to start memorising Kanji to be able to read more, but I also have the chance to do some reading thanks to my knowledge of hiragana. I will practice some reading at home to get better at it. As usual, the lesson was great, and Naru Sensei was very patient and encouraging. Thank you 😊.

She's an excellent teacher! She had a clear lesson plan and knew exactly how to progress with me. Great experience!

As for the other times I have learned from Naru-san, the lesson was very nice. Reading practise, putting words together to meaningful sentences, adding and discussing relevant grammar and variations and providing a relaxed setting to give time to think and make the first attempts to communicate as a very beginner in a new language.

Today we finished Genki 1! I asked Naru Sensei if we could focus on writing, reading, and speaking, as I still have to wrap my head around the last grammar points we have been learning. Naru Sensei was happy with this, and we were reading one of the stories from the Genki book. Kanji are not easy, but I am managing to remember a few more every day. Today we reviewed the homework from the last session and did some practice of what we learned in the previous lesson. We are almost at the end of the first Genki book. I still have to wrap my head around some of the grammar I have been learning recently, but everything has been going well so far 😁.
