Ayako

I had my first trip to Japan last week, and I understood a lot!! The information that I learned from lessons with Ayako really helped us to not get lost and due to me understanding my surroundings (signs etc) a bit better, it definitely made the trip so much more interesting and fun !! ありがとうございます、あやこ先生！

Great lesson with Ayako talking about dental care around the world, the breakfast foods we eat, the importance of checking expiration dates, and the fruits we like. As always an incredibly fun lesson that’s not only filled with helpful feedback and new vocabulary but lots of laughs, great conversation, and relating on our shared experiences!

We cover lots of information during the 1hr lessons, and they are always quite balanced (talking, reading, kanji, grammar, vocabulary)!! Today Ayako tested me on different kanjis, we reviewed 2 dialogues practices, we covered a few new grammars, and there was a manga practice where I had to come up with the dialogue for each scene !! 今日のレッスンは面白くて楽しかったです！ありがとうございました、あやこ先生！:)

Les leçons avec Ayako me font beaucoup progresser ! J’étudie avec des manuels souvent mais c’est grâce à mes leçons avec Ayako que je peux faire le lien entre tout ce que j’apprends et le mettre en pratique. Elle réponds à mes questions et développe toujours ses réponses et c’est très enrichissant 😊 Ma compréhension du japonais a nettement augmenté mais je dois travailler dur sur l'oral ! C'est un rendez-vous que j’attends toujours avec impatience merci beaucoup pour votre gentillesse アヤコさん♪

Today we reviewed past and new grammar, roleplayed a couple of different casual dialogues, and went through a reading comprehension excercise !! We talked about lots of interesting topics such as how sentences are shortened in english and student uniforms being classed as formalwear etc ! ありがとうございました、あやこ先生！レッスンはいつも楽しく面白いです!

We had a lot of fun conversations today, and I appreciate being able to discuss about food and culture with Ayako. She continues to help me with my vocabulary and sentence construction, and sends me notes for all the additional vocabulary. I also enjoy reading the manga she has recommended for our sessions.
