My name is Yannis. I am a native Greek and I live in the small island of "Chios" in the Northern Aegean. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy and Educational Sciences, a Master's Degree in "New Forms of Education and Learning" (which is mostly related to online, adult education and lifelong learning using the information & communication technologies). I am currently studying for my second master's in "Education with use of New Technologies". I am a certified Greek language instructor and also qualifications for Special Education and School Psychology. For the past four years I have been teaching greek to people from all over the world. Γιάννης is a great teacher. Some people are made to be teachers and Γιάννης is definitely one of them. He is very enthusiastic and very passionate which makes it easier to engage and learn. I started with Γιάννης at a time I felt a little flat about learning greek, but his energy has spurred me on to learn more and made me remember why I was passionate about learning Greek in the first place. He is always on time, and very often puts in extra effort giving homework tasks, sending the notes that we make during the lesson and any other resources we have used. He is always available to answer and queries that you may have to.
