My name is Yannis. I am a native Greek and I live in the small island of "Chios" in the Northern Aegean. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy and Educational Sciences, a Master's Degree in "New Forms of Education and Learning" (which is mostly related to online, adult education and lifelong learning using the information & communication technologies). I am currently studying for my second master's in "Education with use of New Technologies". I am a certified Greek language instructor and also qualifications for Special Education and School Psychology. For the past four years I have been teaching greek to people from all over the world. It was a very lucky choice I made with Iannis.
Iannis is a very passionate teacher and made me comfortable since the first lesson. He has the talent to keep you motivated even during difficult topics of the language.
His lessons are very well structured and Iannis also understand how to challenge me while still having fun.
I am thankful for having Iannis as a teacher and strongly recommend him to anyone who wants to experience how to learn Greek with a solid and creative teacher.

I've been on a long journey to learn Greek, and after self-teaching for awhile I hit a plateau. Recently, I've started taking lessons with Ioannis, and they've been incredibly beneficial- challenging enough to push me to start making real progress again. His lessons are well-structured, covering listening, speaking, and reading in every session, which makes for a balanced and effective learning experience. Ioannis is patient, encouraging, and provides constructive feedback, making me feel comfortable and supported even when I make mistakes. He takes the time to explain concepts and grammar clearly while allowing me to work through finding my words at my own pace. I also appreciate the homework and review materials he provides after each lesson, keeping me motivated to study between sessions. If you're serious about learning Greek, I highly recommend Ioannis as an instructor!
