Benji Baqué

I highly recommend Benji to anyone looking to learn French. After studying with him for a couple years, I've had great success, moving from high beginner (A2) to high intermediate (B2) and enjoying trips to Paris in the summer where my French was not only good enough to get around, but to enjoy time out with acquaintances from line dancing. I was able to understand and participate in table talk for hours about various subjects. My regular practice and progress with Benji is the major contributor to this success. (As well, Benji helps me a lot with selecting, correcting, and producing the materials I use for making digital flashcards--so he's also a major part of the second major contributor to my success.) If you're looking for a French teacher, you should try a lesson with Benji!

Joshua thoroughly enjoyed today’s lesson which took him on a journey to the game of Dungeons and Dragons. My son who would rather do anything rather than study French is progressing faster with Benji’s help than I am as an adult with 3 teachers and aggressively studying several hours a day. I’m so grateful we found Benji. Whatever his method is it’s working! I’m looking at his schedule today to see if he’ll help me as well! After taking lessons from Benji for almost 2 years now, I can honestly say that he's motivated me to continue to learn french as much, if not more than when I started. All of our lessons are high engaging, fun, and most of all I learn something new each class. Sometimes we have a planned lesson and sometimes we just talk about a fun topic for an hour. Don't hesitate to request a class with Benji if you're looking to improve your french and have a great time while doing it!

Benji helped me to understand my mistakes. He reinforced the things I did right but also helped me to understand how I can do better.

Benji's lessons are very thorough. He points out even the smallest grammatical mistakes, and his teaching style is efficient and smart. I felt that this was the most effective lesson I have had so far.
