Hello potential students. I am a native English speaker from the southeastern U.S.--Mississippi, to be exact--and I love meeting people from all over the world. One of the greatest benefits of teaching online is getting to learn about so many other cultures. My interests, other than teaching, include literature, film, philosophy, art, travel, and the environment. I lead a quiet life in a rural area, spending a lot of time with my family and dog. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and helping you on your English journey.지도 경험
You can expect meticulous attention to detail and serious dedication from me as a teacher. We can have casual conversations, which will include a lot of laughter, but I'll always be listening for mistakes. I expect students to be as dedicated as I am because the goal here is to make observable improvements in your ability and proficiency with English. After all, that is why we're doing this, right? You can also expect me to be punctual and prepared. I never miss lessons and I'm quite flexible when it comes to rescheduling, as long as you give me 24-hours notice. First, I should mention that I work with intermediate to advanced students only. My lessons are fun and my teaching style laid back, relaxed. I like to be at ease in my classes so my students can be too. As I mentioned above, laughter plays a big part in my approach to teaching. We can all learn and remember a lot more when we associate something with laughter than with nervousness or anxiety. When studying with me, you will have great conversations, learn and practice grammatical concepts, and improve your reading and pronunciation. Today we analyzed a poem, and I can say that Andrew is a superb teacher. That was my first time actually reading a poem, and under his assistance and guidance I found reading poetry -- and interpreting it in a purely humanistic way -- is a mind-expanding activity. Thanks!

English lessons with Andrew are very useful and fun. As we're talking, he can easily find the grammar concepts that I need to work on, so definitely students will learn a lot of new words, verbs, common sentences or grammatical constructions with him.

The lesson with Andrew was very good and entertaining. We talked and I learned new words and writing rules today. He has a good sense of humor and always puts attention to your mistakes, he can even identify the grammatical concept you need to work on to give you, if you like homeworks (like me), a homework related to this topic.
