Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about summer vacation in Europe, about where Chinese people like to go on vacation and about the "foreigner price" in some places. We also talked about the terra cotta warriors. It was a fun discussion!

We also talked about why the US has so many people with weight problems. It was a very fun conversation, as usual, and was interesting to hear Ziyu's experience as a contrast!

Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about a lot of things - including "snow birds" and parents in China moving to the city for work. Ziyu also told me about some interesting things about government workers serving in the countryside. Ziyu also allows me time to think through my sentences, which helps me come up with better sentences in conversation!
