Hi, I’m Tim, an English teacher from Southeast England who specialises in helping adult learners quickly improve their spoken and written English. I have more than 15 years experience teaching. I'm highly experienced in giving business English, general English and exam preparation classes.
I'm passionate about teaching and language learning. I understand the challenges of learning, as well as the methods and techniques needed to make a language class effective.지도 경험
I am CELTA qualified and I've been a full-time English teacher since 2009.
I started my teaching career giving business English lessons in multinational companies in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This included one-to-one classes with company managers as well as group classes for employees.
Over the last several years I have focused on online teaching. I follow a speaking focused approach to teaching where the student is always at the centre. My main aim is to get my students speaking and using language as much as possible. Students should finish every class having worked on new vocabulary, useful phrases or important grammatical structures.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
⭐ I want you to practice speaking as much as possible, so all classes are student-centred.
⭐ I keep "teaching talking" to a minimum, so that my students have the best opportunity to practice speaking.
⭐I use a variety of materials, including coursebooks, textbooks, videos and audios, personally created pdf's as well as online news, magazines and blog materials.
⭐I provide written feedback at the end of each class with vocabulary suggestions, grammar corrections and more.
⭐ In the first lesson I will evaluate your level, understand what you need and want to achieve and then select the materials and learning approach that will help you achieve your goals most effectively.내 수업 자료

Online English teacherI taught English online from 2012, primarily through the platform Buddyschool.com. I taught several thousand classes through this platform before it was eventually shut down.
2009 - 2012
English TeacherI gave Business English classes to groups and individuals within several multinational companies based in the city. In addition, I gave general English classes at the language institute.
2007 - 2009
Vehicle Acquisition SupervisorI managed a team in the Vehicle Acquisition Department in the EU HQ of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. We handled various accounting and IT analytical processes for the UK, Ireland and Germany subsidiaries of the company.
2005 - 2007
Vehicle Acquisition AnalystI worked in the Vehicle Acquisition department at the European headquarters for this large multinational rental car company, in an analyst role. This involved managing data for the rental fleet and providing reports on it, including the current fleet make-up, upcoming vehicle purchases and retirements, and rebate programmes.
2004 - 2005
Management TraineeI joined this multinational rental car company in their graduate management trainee programme. This was a fast track programme leading to the management of rental car branches as well as other opportunities within the company.

I enjoyed our intro class a lot. Tim is a highly professional tutor, even during the intro lesson, I've learned some new expressions and understood some of my mistakes.
