Hi, everyone! I’m EK. I have worked as a market researcher at a large international company for over 13 years and am also a K-pop lyricist. As a native Korean born and raised, I’m here to help you on your journey to speaking Korean fluently and accurately. Additionally, I have lived in the U.S. for seven months and in Canada for a year, and I have traveled to many different countries. I will guide you until you can speak Korean with fluency and confidence!

I have taught adult Korean learners online for about a year. I have conducted lessons that correct grammar and pronunciation and teach expressions through natural conversations.
Having studied English for over 10 years, I understand the differences between English and Korean, as well as the difficulties of language learning. With this experience, I can effectively teach you Korean!

I came to EK with a unique request -- to help me with a bridesmaid toast made out of old school K-pop lyrics! Our first session went wonderfully, she fully understood what I was trying to do and helped me put things together. Can't wait to keep working on it!

EK 쌤 is one of the best teachers I have had! She is very patient with me (I ask a lot of questions, maybe too many haha) and she explains all the different words and phrases I struggle with very thoroughly. She is always bright and well prepared for class! I always feel like I have learned and improved after a class with her :)
