Hi, my name's Jonny! I'm a CELTA qualified English teacher who has been teaching both online and face-to-face for 4 years.
I'm originally from the Southwest of England but currently live near Granada in Spain. I enjoy studying languages, reading📕, and playing the accordion🪗.
Classes I offer:
- Conversation classes
- IELTS exam preparation (general and academic)
- Cambridge First B2 (FCE) exam preparation
At the end of the lesson I provide my students with a personalised PDF containing all the notes from their lesson.지도 경험
I like to provide fun and entertaining lessons which are customised for each student. I combine my own materials with textbooks and other sources to keep students engaged. As a language learner myself I'm very aware of the challenges facing my students and always keep that in mind.
Since completing my CELTA certificate 4 years ago I have been tutoring teenage and adult students in Spain. I've helped Spanish high school students pass their high school degree and prepared adult learners to achieve qualifications in English for work and study purposes, such as IELTS and Cambridge exams.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
👉Conversation Class: These focus on learning and using new vocabulary and grammar concepts whilst also gaining confidence in speaking. These classes are always designed around specific topics.
👉IELTS and Cambridge First B2 (FCE) Classes: These are designed to help maximise a students potential score based on their current level of English. Classes always contain a speaking element alongside one other skill (reading, writing, listening).

A wholehearted recommendation - Jonny is a professional, but also super fun to work with.
I booked a bunch of lessons with Jonny to prepare for my IELTS, both for speaking and grammar/writing. Happy to say I've enjoying every single one of them so far. I keep being surprised by how thoroughly he is prepared for the lessons, how well is the content of each lesson adjusted to my specific needs and my level, and the quality of his teaching and attention overall. He also tailors homework specifically for me and always takes his time to check it, as well as gives detailed feedback. I feel extremely lucky to accidentally have found such a great teacher here.

Jonny is a fantastic and kind teacher. He surprises me with new material and relevant content in every class. I've taken more than 10 classes so far, and I feel much more comfortable speaking.
