Yuuki is a fantastic teacher! He's interested in a wide range of subjects, so it's easy to have a casual conversation while learning! In Yuuki's class, you're provided a Google document with the vocabulary you learned and also a transcript of the discussion you had that day! It's a great resource for studying practical Japanese as you make fun and interesting conversation that's relevant to your life! The vibe is casual but structured-- I appreciate that we speak casually about many topics, but Yuuki makes sure the lesson isn't aimless, so even casual and fun conversations are productive! Overall, I think Yuuki is a perfect choice for anyone to further their Japanese learning in a way that feels natural!

We talked about a lot of different subjects. Most interestingly, the discussion on how people are raised differently in America vs Japan was a fun topic.

Yuuki Sensei is awesome! The lesson was conversation guided which is exactly what I need to make my Japanese far more practical. There is a perfect blend between known vocabulary and knew vocabulary. Yuuki Sensei asked my interests and hobbies so that we can use them as a means to use practical Japanese and have real-life conversations. I felt very comfortable using what little Japanese I knew right from the start and Yuuki Sensei never made me feel self-conscious about my skill level and guided me in the correct directions when I needed it. I immediately booked more lessons! I look forward to working with Yuuki Sensei!

I've been learning Japanese with Yuuki sensei for a while now, and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better teacher. As someone who learns at a slower pace, I really appreciate how patient and understanding he is. He never rushes me and always makes sure I truly understand each topic before moving on. One of the things I admire most is how he adapts his teaching style to suit my needs. He’s great at picking up on what works best for me, whether it’s more repetition, visual aids, or breaking things down step-by-step, and that has helped me build confidence in a language I once found intimidating. His lessons are always well-paced and balanced between grammar, vocabulary, and speaking practice. I also love how he makes the classes engaging and fun without ever losing focus on the learning goals. I genuinely look forward to each lesson. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dedicated, flexible, and encouraging Japanese teacher!
