Fangfang (Yiela)

My lessons with Fang Fang are completely tailor-made and designed around my needs. She always brings interesting content and guides me when I don't know a word or I mispronounce. I really could not recommend her more, and I always look forward to our next lesson!

I've taken over 80 lessons so far with Yiela. I started with zero knowledge except for some tone and loan word knowledge from Vietnamese . And after half a year I'm not only starting to pick up pronounciation and basic grammar but am able to get a good grasp on reading characters. She's always punctual and supportive and has a good sense of went to progress through each lesson or hang back and improve on the current subject matter or revisit something that may have slipped your mind. Will always explain answers to questions you may want to ask. Very satisfied and happy to have her as a great teacher.

Fangfang was very helpful in learning the grammar in addition to the new words. I would highly recommend this teacher.

I’ve had 10 lessons with 芳芳 so far and I can fully recommend taking classes with her! In our very first trial class, we had a chat to determine my fluency level and understand my goals (conversational fluency in a wide range of advanced topics). 芳芳 then recommended the appropriate type of lesson package for me (Free talk) and we got to work! She would prepare topics or a short text for me to read before class, and we would discuss the topic in class. The topics have been varied, have given me an insight to Taiwanese culture, and have just the right level of difficulty for me. It really shows that 芳芳 has put thought into preparing the material. By lesson two I am already speaking more Chinese than I have in the past six months of study! Learning a language is very nerve wracking sometimes but 老师 Fangfang makes it much more attainable and enjoyable, and I feel excited to make more progress!
