For the past six years, I have been a private tutor for adolescents and adults in Mexico. :) I am currently teaching English at a local language school in Chiapas. In addition, I have taught at the Universidad Internacional del Conocimiento e Investigación (University of Knowledge and Research) in Tapachula, Mexico. I prioritize fun in my classes! I strive to motivate my students and encourage progress. Do not be afraid to make mistakes! Mistakes are great because they help us learn. My lessons center around conversational practice so that you can learn as much as possible and use what you are learning. Katie is an awesome teacher! She brings so much energy and enthusiasm into her classes, making them super engaging. Her homework assignments are actually interesting and even funny sometimes, not your usual typical assignments. During our classes, we either go over the assignments together or just chat. I've learned a bunch of new words, verbs, and cool idioms from her. My speaking skills have improved a lot, thanks to her!
