I personally prefer student-centered classes and my lessons are generally very interactive with lots of pair and group work activities. Regarding online one-on-one learning, I tailor my lessons based on the student's needs and interests. I try to use authentic and semi-authentic materials, realia, Powerpoint presentations, and oral and written assignments. As a native English speaker, I contacted Majid to help me with some advanced-level grammar concepts and rules that I struggle with because I never actually learned them. Majid taught me the use of who vs whom, direct and indirect objects, and compound and complex sentences (as I requested). He answered all of my questions in detail and in a way that makes sense to me and gave me lots of practice and review questions. I will definitely come back to him with more questions in the future. For the first time in my life, I can correctly use whom! Thanks Majid!
