My name is Martha and I am based in Hong Kong. I'm a big enthusiast of studying foreign languages and cultures and therefore I enjoy making friends with foreigners. As a passionate language student myself, I've been studying Mandarin and Spanish for some time now and I hope to learn even more languages in the future. I enjoy hiking, street photography, and reading.지도 경험
I am a TEFL-certified, professional teacher of English as a foreign language, with more than 5 years of teaching experience both online and in a classroom. My students come from many different countries and I love getting to know more about their habits, personalities, and backgrounds.
I use a variety of approaches, including storytelling, engaging presentations, videos, textbooks, and cultural immersion in order for students to use the language in a natural way and learn about interesting topics. During all types of classes, I focus on a comprehensive understanding of the language. I incorporate pictures, texts, or videos in order to teach the language in the cultural context. Conversation practice focuses more on expressing opinions and ideas in the target language and allows you to gain confidence in speaking, whereas the general language is more focused on grammar, reading, listening, and so-called "exam skills".
My lessons are conducted entirely in English - translation is minimal (if any), so you can better immerse in an English-speaking environment! :)내 수업 자료

Since I have started my lessons with Marta I improved my English very well and finally I can fully enjoy reading books and speak in English without fear. Every lesson is very engaging and even I didn't practice vocabulary in my daily rutine I remember vocabulary from previous lessons thanks to the Marta's method of learning.

Marta is an excellent teacher. I like her approach to teaching, the questions give me a lot of possibilities to tell about everything. She listens to my speech very patiently and is able to react very quickly to my mistakes. My vocabulary is much richer. Of course the first is my effort, but Marta helps me to keep my motivation. After each lesson I had only the best feeling and I have won more confidence to speak in English. Thanks, Marta.

I'm satisfied with the class, I see how much they help me. Learning above all by speaking in my case works well. I like Marta's approach very much, she teaches with passion and commitment. I always receive a list of new words and phrases after every lesson. The stress was initially caused by the unknown thing that awaits me because it was my first online lesson, but it's great, I couldn't feel better. My learning expectations have been fulfilled in 100% and will continue:)
