Bryndís Rún Hansen

Bryndis is an exceptional teacher. She is a skilled professional who provides clear guidance for learning Icelandic. Her teaching style makes the classes both easy and enjoyable while also being very enriching.

Bryndis listens patiently to one’s questions and makes helpful corrections, answers, and suggestions to one’s speaking and listening abilities. She also provides clear cut examples of Icelandic usage. Her practical knowledge of both English and her native Icelandic make her an excellent instructor.

In our conversation sessions, Bryndis is patient in allowing me to say my Icelandic sentences and then correct my mistakes afterwards to reinforce my learning. She can cover a variety of topics for conversation practice and knows the grammar well. Although I don’t live in Iceland but have only traveled there, Bryndis’ tutoring is the next best thing to being there.
