Hello! My name is Bryan | 黄俊明 | บุย, I’m half Filipino - half Chinese, and I currently live in Singapore for work. I work in the e-commerce industry as a digital marketer. My hobbies include - learning new languages, photography, going on food trips, travelling & watching movies/TV series.지도 경험
I enjoy both learning & teaching languages, especially when I get to use it to converse with native speakers. Besides my home country, I've also lived in Thailand (2015-2016) and Singapore (2019-present), and I really enjoy being immersed in cultures and environments.
As a language teacher, I get a lot of fulfilment whenever I see my students & friends improve in their native languages, and that's my main reason for coming to Italki. :)
Moreover, being a language learner myself, I know the struggles & painpoints that we all experience. And I would like to draw from my experience in order to help my students in overcoming these.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
I prefer to conduce my classes in a relaxed environment, and the focus of our classes will be on helping YOU achieve your language learning goals, whichever they may be. Every student is different, so I tailor-fit my classes according to the student's preferences & learning goals.
It is very important for me to not only understand thoroughly what is important for the students, but also to ensure that our classes are conducive for learning - and the end goal will be to help the students gain more confidence.내 수업 자료

I am really thrilled to meet Bryan. It seems that we shared so many similarities. Sorry for taking up the additional time. I was too eager to converse with him in some languages that seems not so popular but we both chose to learn. During the lesson, the teacher helped me rephrase so many Tagalog sentences I failed to make and the conversation flowed at such a rapid pace that makes me feel I assimilated a lot of knowledge about the language. Thank you very much!

According to my experience on Italki about new teachers, really few deserve to be called good teachers. However Bryan has always been, since the very first lesson, an excellent teacher who can explain, compare, and detail his native language, Tagalog. I thoroughly enjoy each of our lessons which make me want to learn more and improve every week. Salamat :)

My first lesson with Bryan was really enjoyable, as he could adapt to the rhythm of the student while being very well prepared and able to compare Tagalog with many other languages. Highly recommended new teacher :)

Bryan is a very organized teacher who brings great enthusiasm to his classes. I really enjoyed my first lesson with him. The class was interesting, the learning materials were practical and there was always something to talk about related to Filipino language and culture.
Throughout the lesson, Bryan explained concepts clearly and I appreciated him taking the extra step to answer all of my questions. Very laid back and easygoing, he is a pleasure to learn from!
