My name is Teacher Theresa and I am 32 years old. I come from a wonderful, most amazing city called Cape Town which is located in sunny South Africa. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Education, a Business Management diploma majoring in Marketing and last but certainly not least, I recently completed my 120 hours TESOL certificate which allows me to teach English to foreign students.
I am a teacher at a special needs school where I have been teaching for over 4 years now. I work with students who have various learning barriers. What this means is, I assist and support students who struggle to read, write and who even find it difficult to communicate in their home language which is English.지도 경험
I take pride in my profession and have a true passion for teaching. I am vibrant, fun, energetic, and always looking for new and exciting ways to make learning a pleasure in the classroom. By working in an Inclusive Education environment I have gained beneficial teaching skills and now have hands-on experience in working with students who function and operate on vastly different levels of learning. My teaching approach can be very animated and also intermediate to advanced. This is entirely dependent on the age group of the particular student I am conducting a lesson with. I believe that learning should always be fun and interactive. So for my younger students, I make use of props such as puppets, flashcards and we do lots of singing and dancing to encourage movement and increased interaction. When teaching my adult students, I offer conversational practice through reading books, newspaper articles, and simply just enjoying some free talking lessons. It all depends on the needs of the student. My teaching style is very flexible and versatile. age group when it comes to teaching.내 수업 자료
