Howdy! Hoi! Hallöchen! ¿Qué onda? My name is Rachel, I'm 30 years old and from LA. I graduated from university with a BA in anthropology. At 23, I traveled to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where I completed my teaching training (CELTA). After, I moved to Berlin, Germany, where I worked at language schools with students in person and online.
I now live in Mexico City where the sun shines daily and the lifestyle is relaxed. I can also recommend the best vegan tacos in town ;)지도 경험
I have over seven years of experience teaching English to learners of all ages, levels, and backgrounds. My main goal is to help you build confidence. It's okay to make mistakes!
I'm very patient, so you can take your time with me. I am here to help you learn and we will have fun. I try to speak with a "neutral" accent so you can understand me more easily :)
I've worked with students of ALL ages and ALL levels so I'm happy to begin wherever you're at!
I started learning German at 15, Dutch at 25, and Spanish at 27. It's never too late to start learning a language and the most important part of learning is having a good teacher who you can trust and feel confident with.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
**Because my daily teaching schedule consists of back-to-back lessons with no break in between, our lesson could end 2-3 minutes early or start 2-3 late. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged at 100%, except for emergencies.**
During lessons, you will speak A LOT. And the good part is, we will talk about you and your favorite topics :)
Our lessons will be easygoing, enjoyable, and fun. You will finish feeling good about yourself and quickly recognize your improvement.
I will also provide you with materials such as worksheets, articles, etc. to help you improve in all areas of the language - speaking, reading, writing, and listening. It's all important!내 수업 자료

In 2018, I also underwent a Helen Doron training which allowed me to work with children. I taught one-on-one courses, as well as groups of 2-7 students. I taught children and adults of all ages.

In my lessons, I use various platforms, websites, textbooks (Speakout, Lifestyle, etc.), videos, and articles during my lessons. My students enjoy a relaxed atmosphere where they can express themselves freely and build confidence in their language use.

Teaching InternshipDuring my teaching training, I taught two groups of 6 adult Thai students at the beginner and intermediate levels.
Preparation for these lessons included creating original content and materials, such as lesson plans, worksheets, and tests.
This teaching was audited by a CELTA instructor and I was given valuable feedback after each lesson.

I absolutely love my lessons with Rachel. She inspires me to become a more confident speaker. We can talk about anything under the sun, and she always makes it engaging. Idioms used to be my Achilles' heel, but thanks to her, I'm now using them left and right in my daily conversations. Without a doubt, her lessons are 10/10 — I'm over the moon with how much I'm enjoying them.
