Hi! My name is Hiram and I'm an english teacher from Miami, FL, USA! I am an extrovert, so I love meeting people from all over the world and having fun conversations. I've been moving around teaching english in different regions of Spain and now France going on 8 years now. My passions include, music, cinema/series, literature, philosophy, comics, cartoons, comedy, culture and much much more! I can't wait to meet you and help you learn English!지도 경험
I have been teaching English as a foreign language for over seven years now, and have even worked as the director of academics at a summer camp for students from abroad. I have a Bachelor's degree in English with a focus on creative writing, a Master's degree in liberal studies, and I am TEFL certified, all from the University of Miami.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
I have a very laid back teaching style. I like my students to feel comfortable talking to me, like if you were just chatting with your American buddy from Miami in a cafe or hostel while traveling around the world. I've been living abroad in Spain for six years and many of my best friends are learning English, so teaching this way comes very natural to me. I like to get to know my students over casual conversation, and later on I will bring up some topics or questions for us to break out of our comfort zone and chat about interesting things that might come up in the real world on a day to day basis!학력
2008 - 2012
학사 - EnglishBachelor's degree in English from a highly exclusive university focusing on creative writing emphasising but not limited to poetry. Degree was accompanied by a double minor in philosophy and anthropology and was completed with a high 3.79 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
2013 - 2014
석사 - Liberal StudiesMaster of Arts from the University of Miami's highly acclaimed Liberal Studies program with a near perfect GPA of 3.83 out of a 4.0 scale. It is a program that spans fields ranging from philosophy to physics and is taught exclusively by the highest quality professors the University of Miami has to offer.

Cultural Ambassador and Language Assistant• Lead both small and large groups of students in discussion activities and assessed their progress based on pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and fluidity.
• Prepared students for Cambridge PET and the FIRST exam.
• Prepared students for a nationwide mock United Nations “Global Classrooms” debate on the International Monetary Fund, teaching students how to investigate a topic, write research papers, cite sources, speak publicly, debate controversial topics, draft resolutions.
