As usual Mónica is a fantastic teacher. I can notice an improvement with my Spanish and I am excited to improve even more. I am also becoming more confident when I speak and a little less hesitant. I definitely recommend Monica if you are looking for a teacher.

Mónica is an excellent teacher. She is knowledgeable and answers my questions no matter how ridiculous. She also customizes each class based on what I want to work on as well as the areas in which I could use more practice. The homework she gives is useful and interesting. I highly recommend taking a class with Mónica.

Monica is the best language teacher I’ve ever studied with. She challenges me to push my Spanish to its limits, but also patiently guides me, and pauses to give explanations when I make mistakes. I love working with her and hope to do so for many years to come.

I've taken 11 classes with Mónica. I take a 45-minute lesson with her each week. I enjoy her style. The first part of our lesson is conversation. We talk about whatever is happening. This conversation piece has helped me improve my vocabulary. Then we review grammar lessons for the main part of the class. I enjoy both elements. For me, her lessons are the perfect balance of casual conversation and more traditional book study. Her approach is relaxed. She takes notes for me of new vocabulary. She also offers visuals to assist in my understanding. I really enjoy my lessons with Mónica and am learning much from her.

This was my first lesson, and Monica was very sweet and patient with me. I can't speak much Spanish yet, so Monica spoke slowly and typed out what she was saying for me. We made a plan based on my preferences, goals, and availability. Looking forward to learning more with Monica!
