I like to focus on all the language skills but especially on the ability to speak. I want my students to lose the fear of expressing themselves and of making mistakes. I like working a lot on pronunciation, grammar, expressions and vocabulary but in real practice, I want them to see in me more than a teacher a friend who will accompany them in this learning process with a lot of love and patience.
Me gusta enfocarme en todas las habilidades del idioma pero en especial en la capacidad de hablar. Quiero que mis estudiantes pierdan el miedo a expresarse y a equivocarse. me gusta trabajar mucho la pronunciación, gramática, expresiones y vocabulario pero en la practica real. En éste diplomado fortalecí mis competencias como profesora de lenguas extranjeras (bilinguismo, evaluación, PBL Project, etc) mejoré mis habilidades como profesora de Español Lengua Extranjera. Obtuve calificación 4.8/5.0 en mi proyecto de grado, en el cuál desarrollé una unidad didactica. Objetivo: mejorar la escritura, fluidez, pronunciación, el uso adecuado del lenguaje y el dominio del discurso frente al público.

Me encanta estudiar con María porque ella es maestra experta que sabe explicar bien puntos de gramática y uso con textos, trucos, y ejemplos. También es muy amistosa y paciente y eso hace la conversación fácil e interesante y divertida. Estoy mejorando todos los aspectos de la idioma mientras que compartimos varios aspectos de nuestros vidas en los EE.UU. y Colombia.

Siempre disfruto las clases con María. Es obvio que le encanta enseñar y siempre le alegra discutir cualquier pregunta que tenga. No importa si tiene que ver con la gramática, la fonética, el vocabulario, la cultura colombiana o lo que sea. En cada clase aprendo mucho y puedo practicar hablar y entender en español.
