¡Hola! Mi nombre es Maribel y vivo en un pueblito al sur de México. Soy estudiante de la Licenciatura en Enseñanza de Español como Lengua Extranjera en la UNAM. Me encanta bailar, escuchar música, las historias de miedo y aprender sobre las culturas originarias y los idiomas.También tengo un título en Ingeniería Civil, podemos hablar sobre ingeniería en español.
Hello! My name is Maribel and I live in a little town in south Mexico.
I'm currently studying to get a degree of Spanish Teaching as a Foreign
Language at UNAM.
I love dancing, music, ghost stories and learning about indigenous cultures and languages.

If you are a begginer we can make a plan to start your journey with this beautiful language. Aprenderás expresiones cotidianas, conocerás sobre la cultura, mitos, leyendas, comida y folklore mexicano. Quiero que la pases bien en todo momento para que aprendas más así que eres libre de proponer el tema principal. Si aún no eres tan avanzado podemos tener parte de la clase en inglés.

You will learn day-to-day expressions, you will learn about culture, myths, legends, food and mexican folklore. I want you to have a good time every time so that you can learn more, so please feel free to propose a topic that you are interested in. If I could give 10 stars for this lesson I would! Maribel prepared a beautiful workbook full of information about Día de los Muertos with lots of different activities including songs and videos for me to listen to afterwards. I love the idea of learning about the culture and history of Mexico while practising my Spanish. I very much look forward to learning more about Mexico with Maribel.

For all of you looking for a good spanish teacher, talk to Maribel. I already did more than 10 meetings with her and every lecture is better than the last one. She is always suggesting new activities, and I believe that my spanish is much much better thanks to her help. =)

I've been taking classes with Maribel for some time now and truly appreciate her teaching style. She chooses a theme we focus on each session, making the lesson conversational and engaging. She asks thoughtful follow-up questions that make me feel heard and encourage me to express myself fully. Every time we have a class, I walk away with something new that I've learned. I also love how she integrates a video component into the lessons, adding depth and variety. Overall, it's a joy to learn from her!
