Hello! My name is Patrick.
I'm a Professional Teacher and Former IELTS examiner with over 10 years of teaching experience in both IELTS and General English.
I am originally from the United States but I currently live & teach in Vietnam. I have lived here for 8 years now but eventually I would love to live in Costa Rica. I have 3 cats!
I like to work out in the gym, practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, write, and I read A LOT!지도 경험

I will listen to you so I can understand what your goals are how achieving these goals will change your life. You will learn step by step how to start working towards those goals quickly and effectively.
Every lesson is about you. Together we will improve the skills you need help with most. It will be easy to practice at home with my detailed instructions you receive after class.
You will learn how to build positive study habits.. These will be easy to follow, and more importantly, easy to do at home.

These are my work contracts from 2021 - 2023 and my Role Profile showing that I held the role of IELTS Coordinator and that I taught IELTS, developed IELTS materials, and trained IELTS teachers at British Council.
I have also taught 3000+ IELTS lessons on italki and it is the only type of lesson I currently teach to students.

A very good teacher! Serious in class but not scary. He pointed out my problems accurately, encouraged and guided me to talk more, gave me examples, provided ideas and made plans for future class.
