PhD in Applied Linguistics; +15 years of language teaching experience at university level I have been teaching German and Italian for over 15 years at a prestigious Canadian University as well as at a local language school. I have experience teaching all levels and age groups, both in-person and online.

Certified teacher, 8 years experience teaching online I believe learning should be fun and I make it fun! I am very animated and in my classes I seldom use another language, as students use their native language as a cane which they never let go. Students need to be fully engaged in the new language, switch their thinking even, in order to achieve the best. I've been a teacher for the past 10 years - in schools, kindergartens, online, private tutoring. I learn every day from every student how to be a better teacher, I treasure those moments together!

We are all different and I believe everyone has their own preferred way of studying. During our first lesson we will discuss the best approach, schedule and teaching strategy for you. My aim is for you to be comfortable and to succeed with your goals.

Growing up I always had to translate a lot because I spoke 3 languages. I also have been teaching some of the languages to friends, and took foreign language classes as well in order to learn how to teach. Also being part of a french-japanese association, I met a lot of language learners, and being born trilingual I can see notice some things that monolingual natives may not notice. I am now a student in a language university in Japan and also studied one year in a French university in order to learn more about languages.

My name is Olga or Helga and I am here to teach Bulgarian, Dutch, Swedish and Norwegian. I am open-minded, creative and communicative. These skills help me teaching in an amusing and interesting manner.

As a PhD student in Bulgarian literature, I am interested in Bulgarian literature and cinema from the period of Socialism (1944-1989) and I believe that these topics would help my students not only in learning the language itself, but also in getting to know Bulgaria, its history and culture. I am patient and consistent in my work so it would be a pleasure to teach Bulgarian language even to complete beginners.

A philology graduate with teaching experience in Bulgarian and Greek! I will guide you through your language journey! My background knowledge in linguistics has always been my support tool in understanding better the process of learning a foreign language. I have a bachelor's degree in Modern greek philology and i have participated in different international language programs.
