Qualified linguist and teacher with a relaxed and friendly but effective approach to teaching. Since graduating from NUI Galway with a BA in International Languages and completing the TEFL course, I found my passion for sharing cultures and ways of life with people internationally. I am delighted to play a small part in the encouragement of the revitalisation and preservation of the unique language of Irish. Teaching languages is such a rewarding role where I can really see my students improve daily and see their hard work pay off as they become more confident with their language abilities in their everyday lives.

I've been successfully learning, practising and teaching languages for many years, while keeping abreast of the latest studies on language acquisition (Stephen Krashen, Steve Kauffmann. . .).

A Masters student with a degree in Irish! My main goal is to make students feel comfortable to challenge themselves but to also make mistakes! I have lots of experience teaching in schools, summer camps and one-to-one classes with students of different levels. I am currently teaching in a post-primary school.
