Quando insegno lascio molto spazio alla conversazione, se lo studente lo richiede fornisco tutto il materiale (esercizi, compiti, argomenti per scrivere testi). My studies also led me to learn about the adults' world and their ways of internalizing new information when it comes to foreign languages.During my University study case, I had the chance to design an English course for absolute-beginner seniors, which was revealed to be the litmus test of the approach effectiveness I'd been working on up to then. I prefer to be seen as a facilitator of learning rather than a teacher,for my aim is to support others in their journey of language exploration by providing tools and offering expertise to raise consciousness of the new language system.

Being a language learner myself, I am familiar with what struggles people might have when it comes to learning a new language or taking it to the next level. In my opinion practicing and making mistakes is necessary when learning a new language and that's why i always try to make my students feel comfortable speaking and trying and make an environment in which we can all feel free to ask questions and grow.

Materials: I design by myself specific learning units for my students, and I also use some of the best Italian books for Italian learners. As for advanced students, I like to use authentic materials, such as newpapers articles and literary texts.

I think Italki is a perfect occasion to improve foreign languages because it offers what usually is very rare in traditional classes: a single person dedicated to you and the possibility to speak, freely and with no hurry. Conversation is the most important factor to improve a language. Moreover, I think I can make my students feel comfortable, at ease and relaxed during my classes. My golden rule is: if I am enjoying this moment and I'm having fun, so will the student.

I consider myself a language tutor. In my opinion, the best way to learn a language is to jump in and try to speak it right away, so my approach is not academic but starts from the practice of conversation.
