For me learning a foreign language is an amazing experience, not only for reaching fluency itself, but also because it let you immerge in the culture, getting out of your confort zone and expand your orizons. My aim is to make this process as pleasant and fun as possible. I deal with many students around the world by giving language lessons, both in person, at the Italian language school Accademia Leonardo in Salerno, and via Skype. My passion for languages and my studies brought me to understand that languages are not just simple codes ruled by grammatical norms, but that they are actually used to express ourselves as individuals with different backgrounds and cultures.

My students say I'm very patient. :) As a student of languages myself, I know that speaking the target language with a native speaker since the start is the best way to progress faster; I also believe that a relaxed and informal atmosphere is vital to learn effectively and feel more confident, because our brains work much better when not under pressure. I will use Italian as much as possible and, most importantly, I will make YOU use Italian as much as possible, even if you are a beginner. However, sometimes clarity is necessary so we can use English or French - and I still remember a little bit of Norwegian and Swedish.
