Learning a language is like traveling to a new country, and I try to make this journey interesting and comfortable for each student. I usually use the communicative method of teaching, and during lessons, we use mostly Russian. In any lesson, I motivate students to speak as much as possible and familiarize them with the traditions and culture of Russia. As I work as a teacher in everyday life too, I know how important it is to consider different aspects of methodology and language learning and acquisition such as spaced repetition, student talking time, different kinds of approaches, i.e., lexical, and other. German teacher with around a decade of experience and about 6000 lessons with 800+ students. German obviously is my native language, and I basically have a whole life of experience speaking English at work or privately. Russian is my 3rd strongest language, and although I have no certificates confirming that, I can teach you that language up to a pretty high level, as you can see from my intro video. Besides that, I am also very interested and knowledgeable in the field of linguistics and I can help you with pronunciation and accents on a semi-professional level by applying things like the IPA, speech training and logopedic practices. Having said that, I do not specialize in teaching children and I very much recommend looking for a teacher that is experienced in that field.
