A one-size-fits-all approach doesn't make sense. That being said, I believe in focusing on the basics, especially early on; for example, by working on pronunciation early on before bad habits fossilize. People tend not to learn effectively when they're stressed, so being very comfortable with the basics makes it easier to move confidently towards more complex material.

Thomas - teaching 11 languages, currently learning 3 more When teaching I take both my schedule and my classes seriously. When a class is scheduled, it is part of my weekly plan and I get ready for it. I conduct a detailed journal of what I have been doing with my student, I write down every session, thus it is easy for me to check what we did on our past sessions. I used to teach more conventionally, meaning with my students being in the same room as me. In 2021 I started using Skype for my classes and things work out very well. I am always punctual as I respect the time my students take for our class, likewise I do appreciate if my students do the same.

As someone who can speak many languages and is constantly trying to learn new ones I understand the process of learning languages very well, so with my experience I can help you learn and improve and grow with every lesson. As a teacher I am relaxed and patient and very adaptable to your needs. I think every person has their own needs and goals, so its important to make a personalized aproach but I am also open to any wishes that you may have in terms of the lessons aswell.
